Job Summary
Operate packing line(s) and offline equipment to safety, quality, and output standards while completing required quality checks against specified parameters. Adjust plant settings to maintain agreed specifications and use FLT's to supply packaging equipment. Anticipate and solve problems using relevant CI tools, record performance data, and monitor trends to take corrective action. Clearly communicate handover information within the team and participate in continuous improvement projects. Requires experience operating packing machinery, keyboard skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Shifts rotate between day and night rotations; schedule follows a weekly pattern.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced operating packing or production machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Keyboard skills and IT aptitude to input and access data
- Verbal & written communication skills to accurately describe problems, causes and solutions
- Planning skills to ensure routine activities can be completed
- Positive attitude and commitment
- Attitude of continuous improvement
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Positive and proactive contributor in a team environment
