Job Summary
Packing Line 2nd Shift position on the Sioux City plant: move containers of packaged honey to cases, load items into containers, label containers, keep the area clean to maintain line efficiency, pack to meet line speed, and learn a variety of equipment in plant locations. Requires ability to read and understand safety rules/manuals, basic math, and strong attendance. Night shifts with overtime and Saturdays; physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally; opportunity to grow within the company.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent
- Ability to read, write legibly, and speak English
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents such as safety rules and operating manuals
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Ability to operate and read a scale
- Ability to use hands to grip, grab, and turn in repetitive motions
- Excellent attendance is required
- Desire to grow within the company
