Packing Lead

Own the outbound gate by running final inspections, lacing, cleaning, boxing, and shipping to ensure dock output matches orders and standards. Verify pair matches, size stamps, style codes, box labels, and carton contents against orders, then sequence packing against ship schedules and carrier cutoffs. Control heel pad, insole, lace, tissue, and box inventory, raising shortages before they halt shipping. Manage returns triage by inspecting, grading, and routing items to repair, recommerce, or scrap. Maintain the outbound defect log and return findings to the responsible department. This role requires three years in packing or final inspection, the ability to read orders and manifests, and a willingness to stop shipments to reject defects. Work involves standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds on the production floor with required safety gear.
