Job Summary
Packing & Cleaning Role focusing on contents cleaning, deodorizing, manipulation, and storage to support remediation efforts. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing dry and wet pre-cleaning using BELFOR procedures, manipulating contents at client sites to enable remediation, wrapping and packaging contents to prevent damage during transport, transporting contents to the cleaning facility, adhering to MSDS standards, conducting daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections, applying strong customer service principles, and ensuring safe, efficient operations with heavy lifting as needed. Requires use of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision; frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs and mobility in tight spaces are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently
- Experience in construction, restoration, or insurance industry preferred
- Able to operate a motor vehicle per vehicle policy
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
