Job Summary
Packhouse Production Assistant at Gotham Greens responsible for packing containers of fresh produce, sorting and selecting quality product, labeling and staging materials, and assisting with greenhouse production tasks such as transplanting seedlings and harvesting. Requires standing for an 8-hour shift, ability to lift 50 pounds, reliable transportation, and open availability including holidays/weekends; willing to work in temperatures ranging from 55 to 90 degrees. Emphasizes GMP, GAP, SSOP adherence, sanitation, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks at a consistent pace. Prior experience in natural/organic food is a plus but not required; company highlights sustainable urban agriculture and becoming part of a growing, innovative team.
Required Qualifications
