Job Summary
Receive, sort, and pack orders for shipment by accurately identifying quantities, reading pick tickets, and matching items to SKUs. Inspect product for damage, reload bubble wrap machines, and use RF scanners to transfer product while moving pallets with a pallet jack. Clean the department, remove unused supplies, and manage garbage and corrugate recycling as required. Work the 1st shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm on weekends or the 2nd shift Sunday through Thursday, with weekday training available for weekend-only candidates. Temp to permanent status for the right candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to clean department as required
- Accurately identifies exact order quantities and prepares them for shipment
- Understand how to read a pick ticket and packing slip
- Meet the box pack requirements per hour
- Match item and quantity for order being shipped
- Ability to use a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner to pick orders and transfer product
- Inspect product for damage and replace as necessary
- Moves regrind product to a specified location
- Frequently identifies and matches products with the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU)
- Reloads bubble wrap machine
- Use a pallet jack to load trailer and move pallets
- Clean and remove materials, unused boxes, supplies to keep work area neat and orderly
- Frequently dumps garbage and recycle corrugate
