Job Summary
Food Production - Packer Machine Operator on 1ST SHIFT in Kansas City, KS. Responsible for operating machinery to ensure continuous product flow, monitoring and adjusting machine settings, and notifying supervision when maintenance is needed. Includes lubrication, inspection, cleaning, and participating in 5S/CLAIR LEAN initiatives, handling line-side material transfers to robotic equipment, performing perfect packaging checks, identifying material quality defects, weighing rework, using a handheld scanner and HMI workstation, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Must tolerate cold/damp environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and work 8-12 hours on a hard floor with potential for background checks. Required Qualifications
- Must have been in current position 90 days to promote to higher pay grade
- Must have been in current position 6 months to transfer/demote
- Must not have more than 4.5 attendance points
- Must not have received a written warning within past 6 months
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in a cold/damp environment 28-42 degrees
- Able to stand 8-12 hours on a hard floor
- Background checks may be required
