Job Summary
Packer at Opal Foods responsible for packing egg cartons into cases, setting up work area, preparing packaging for the day, packing eggs into crates/boxes/pallets, verifying labels, maintaining a clean work area, assisting teammates, and handling end-of-day cleanup. Requires attention to detail, ability to read and match labels, ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment, and willingness to work a schedule including holidays. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and match labels
- Must demonstrate attention to details
- Must be able to work at a fast-pace, stand in one space and complete repetitive tasks for extended time periods
- Must be available to be scheduled for work 7 days a week including holidays
- Must have good punctuality and be clocked in and ready to work on time, every day scheduled
- Must be able to stay until eggs have completely run out of houses. Work shift usually ends at around 4 pm may work until 7 pm several days in a row
