Job Summary
Packer-Night Shift role at Amcor focused on packaging bottles, visually inspecting products, packing bottles into boxes, moving cartons onto pallets or skids, and lifting up to 35 pounds throughout a 12-hour night shift. Responsibilities include GMP/compliance duties, palletizing finished goods, maintaining a clean and organized work area, assisting with product movement from line to staging with a pallet jack, and supporting food-safety programs and general housekeeping. The role requires manual dexterity, precise visual/near-vision checks, and coordination for repetitive material handling.
Required Qualifications
- Manual Dexterity
- The ability to quickly move hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Information Ordering -- The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
- Near Vision -- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- Extent Flexibility -- The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
- Wrist-Finger Speed -- The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Multilimb Coordination -- The ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion.
- Lifting Requirements -- Ability to lift 35 pounds over head to total height of six feet .
- Walking/Standing---Requirements ability to walk and or stand for 12 hours per day.
