Job Summary
Package life-saving medicines on a high-speed computerized assembly line by visually inspecting vials and labels, moving product on and off the line, and ensuring packaged products meet all specifications. Conduct visual inspections, identify and report problems, and make minor adjustments to assist with equipment changeovers. Strictly follow standard operating procedures, cGMPs, and documentation requirements while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Train other crew members and work overtime as needed. Perform duties during the 3rd shift from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Monday through Friday, earning $17.51–$19.51/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to perform repetitive work
- Must be able to focus on details for periods of time
- Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of product
- Must be able to pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing administered by occupational health administrator, pre-employment and annually thereafter
- Previous machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude
- HMI experience
- The Company's primary business language is English
- Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- Must be willing to become qualified inspector
- Make minor adjustments and assist with changeover and set-up to equipment
- Visually inspect vials and labels
- Assure that the packaged product meets all specifications
- Perform visual inspection of labeled vials
- Comply with all SOP's and cGMP's
- Continue to train as well as train other crew members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assure a safe working environment and wear clean room safety equipment/apparel
- Work overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 40bs
