Job Summary
2nd shift Packer/Crater packs and crates products according to customer specifications, operating on-site at Anchor Fabrication in LaVergne, TN. Responsibilities include determining packing requirements, reviewing shipping documents, packing/crating per customer specs, securing skids, weighing and counting parts for bill of lading, banding and wrapping packages, using air guns and plywood as needed, shrinking packages for loading efficiency, operating and/or coordinating forklift tasks, assisting with UPS shipments, moving parts to shipping staging, and ensuring accurate shipment papers are handled with the shipping administrative team. Skills emphasized: attention to detail, ability to prioritize under schedule demands, good communication, computer literacy, reading precision measuring instruments, and interpreting specifications.
