Job Summary
Complete final packaging of CEMA room product, inspect labels, and wrap skids for storage or shipment to customer while entering data into the shop floor system. Fabricate cartons for Clean Room product, load product onto skids, and label, band, and shrink wrap finished goods. Read and interpret job instructions or BOMs to ascertain materials needed, assist machine operators with scrap removal, and move recycled materials to proper locations. Maintain department housekeeping and 5S program requirements, following Good Documentation Practices and QMS/EMS rules. Communicate effectively with other shifts regarding machine, quality, and priority concerns using shift overlaps. Work Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 35 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to use a pallet jack to push or pull objects up to 75 lbs.
- Hours are 2:30 pm-11:00pm Monday through Friday
