Job Summary
Production Packaging Specialist role focused on inspecting, packaging, and preparing finished products for shipment in compliance with HACCP and CGMP standards. Responsibilities include assisting in production line setup, constructing/replacing correct product boxes and packaging materials, stocking the work area with necessary products, ensuring regulatory compliance, packaging products into containers, inspecting conformity to specifications, stacking finished items onto pallets, affixing labels, using a power-assisted pallet jack to move products to staging, counting and recording finished or rejected items in computer systems, sealing and palletizing boxes for shipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires 18+ years old, U.S. work authorization with E-Verify, ability to work four 12-hour shifts per week on day or night schedules, the physical ability to lift 35 pounds, English proficiency for safety protocols, basic numeracy, manual dexterity, reliable attendance, and tolerance for hot/cold temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the United States; participation in E-Verify required
- Ability to work four 12-hour shifts per week
- Flexible availability to work day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) or night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) as required
- Ability to lift and move a minimum of 35 pounds without assistance
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English to execute safety protocols, instructions, and training materials
- Basic numeracy skills to read and write numbers, letters, and comprehend packaging instructions
- Manual dexterity to perform tasks efficiently and accurately
- Reliable attendance and punctuality at the assigned work location for the entire shift
- Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures, from hot to cold
