Job Summary
Set up, adjust, and teardown equipment including stuffers to maintain maximum line efficiency. Dump buckets, hang, and weigh product while counting, measuring, and recording statistics. Move up to 900 pounds of product on racks, push sausage onto tables, and slide casings. Tear down equipment at shift end and keep the work area clean. Operate a powered hand mule or pallet truck as needed. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements. Perform job rotations and any other work assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability and willingness to operate a powered hand mule/pallet truck/walkie pallet truck
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 20 pounds or greater frequently
- Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
- Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
- Ability and willingness to work in wet and cold temperatures below 35 degrees
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
- Ability and willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability and willingness to perform any other work as assigned by management
- Ability and willingness to perform positions of job rotation as needed
