Job Summary
Operate multi-vac and packaging machines, weighing and packing product while supplying lines with boxes, tux cartons, and pallets. Remove product from racks, setup and tear down equipment, films, and labels, and move up to 1,000-pound racks manually. Clean machines at the end of shift, perform washdowns, and scan or input all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients into the computer system for daily runs. Follow formulations on the computer, accurately record and report food safety or product information, and issue materials as needed. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements while performing job rotation and any other work assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Ability and willingness to scan or input into the computer system all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including change overs
- Ability and willingness to follow formulations on the computer and accurately record and report food safety or product information
- Ability and willingness to Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
- Ability and willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently
- Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
- Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
- Ability and willingness to constantly use mental/muscular coordination, simultaneously
- Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees
- Ability and willingness to perform any other work as assigned by management
- Ability and willingness to perform all positions of job rotation as needed
