Job Summary
Pack all smoked meat items, supply the line with boxes, product, and pallets, and remove product from forms and racks. Set up, run, and clean equipment, including film and labels, while moving up to 700-pound tanks and racks using a hand mule or power jack. Scan and input product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients into the computer system for daily runs and changeovers, following formulations to accurately record food safety and product information. Complete all paperwork, report product data, and perform any other work assigned by management. This 1st shift role in New London, WI, requires adherence to OSHA standards, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements, with a willingness to work overtime, weekends, and perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for up to 10 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet OSHA standards for use of powered industrial trucks (PIT)
- Ability and willingness to operate a powered hand mule/pallet truck/walkie pallet truck
- Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 20 pounds or frequently
- Must be willing and able to move 700 pound tanks
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Ability and willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
