Job Summary
The Packer is responsible for hand-packing a variety of finished products and materials in preparation for shipment, inspecting items for quality, securely wrapping and labeling them according to company standards, and palletizing goods to meet production order requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, coordinating with production teams to ensure smooth workflow, keeping the warehouse clean, identifying defective items, counting/measuring/weighing materials to verify quantities, ensuring products meet Essity’s quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of packing processes. The role requires adherence to safety policies, basic mathematical reading/writing skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. 1st shift operates 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday. High school diploma or equivalent is required; prior manufacturing experience is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred to support diverse teams. The position involves standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and pushing/pulling rolls up to 200 pounds with assistance.
