Job Summary
Packer role in the Packing department preparing and packing customer orders for shipment. Inspects metal and counts pieces; packs metal according to printed specifications with a focus on correct piece counts. Works in 2-person teams to handle heavy packing jobs, maintaining clean, safe workspaces and adhering to safety rules. Shift is 5:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Saturday with weekends required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand all day
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds
- Valid driver's license required to operate forklifts
- Able to work in manufacturing environment around working machinery and experiencing seasonal extreme weather conditions (heat/humidity or cold)
- Must have good math and measuring skills
