Job Summary
Lead the packaging technicians in the Packaging Department to ensure packaging, labeling, and workmanship meet quality specifications. Assist the Production Manager in organizing daily activities, set up and optimize performance, and report activities for improvements. Manage inventory in the Seed to Sale system, oversee packaging stock and re-orders, maintain cleanliness and organization, and report production issues or quality defects. Ability to work independently as well as in a team; adhere to strict sanitation practices and SOPs; capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs; indoor work environment with PPE provided. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Compensation is $22.20/hour. Other duties as assigned to support smooth operation of the packaging department.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience in manufacturing or related field required
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees in organization
