Job Summary
Operate multi-horn packaging equipment, palletizers, and industrial powered trucks while performing production-level maintenance and writing work orders for repairs. Visually inspect finished product bags and pallets for defects, leaks, or improper sealing, and execute product cutbacks and special bag labeling per customer specifications. Safely load and offload flatbeds, containers, and vans, prepare export documentation including bills of lading and COAs, and maintain warehouse housekeeping standards. Utilize the company ERP system (Plex) and CMMS as required. This entry-level path develops warehouse and manufacturing skills for Chemstar Products Company, with a requirement for high school education, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in environments involving dust, noise, and elevated work platforms.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to use hand tools
- Previous experience in fork truck operation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in high places
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to handle exposure to dust, noise, heat, and odors
- Must wear required safety equipment (i.e. hard hat, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses and earplugs)
