Job Summary
Perform basic cannabis packaging tasks including labeling, weighing, grinding, crowning, filling, and final packaging. Maintain a clean and organized work area by following daily cleaning protocols for the Packaging department rooms, tools, and equipment. Report any compliance or safety errors to department leadership and contribute to overall workspace safety. This role requires the ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours and lift up to 30 pounds. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, obtain a state medical marijuana badge, and pass a background check. Good Day Farm offers clear pathways for career progression and required training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge
- Must pass a background check
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
- The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
