Job Summary
Coordinate daily pharmaceutical packaging floor activities, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance of systems like blister packers and serialization tools. Provide direct supervision and training to team members while ensuring strict adherence to cGMP documentation, SOPs, and batch record requirements. Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to optimize workflow across multiple lines, minimize downtime, and maintain product specifications. Act as the primary backup to the Packaging Supervisor for oversight of labor resources and safety compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years in a manufacturing or packaging environment
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging operations and cGMP requirements
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor team members
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow and execute complex instructions accurately
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Near vision (20 inches or less) for inspecting packaging and documentation
