Job Summary
Packaging Specialist responsible for managing and delivering packaging development for innovation and renovation projects, supporting sustainability strategy and maintaining technical specifications. Serves as centre of expertise for packaging materials, artwork, pallet design, and emerging technologies; collaborates across cross-functional teams to deliver functional, safe packaging with improved sustainability credentials while meeting timelines. Requires 5 years of packaging development experience in an FMCG environment, knowledge of packaging technologies, artwork approval, project management, and familiarity with APCO targets and ARL; proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, pallet design software, and PREP system.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years experience minimum leading packaging development for projects with cross functional teams
- Exposure to manufacturing environment
- Experience in packaging development methods, print technology and artwork approval
- Project Management skills, ability to handle multiple & varied project types with cross functional teams
- Experience in Sustainable packaging technologies, understanding of Australia’s packaging targets (APCO) and ARL
- Strong ability in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Adobe - SAP, pallet design software & PREP system
