Job Summary
Oversee the creation of trend-forward brand packaging across home categories, partnering with product development and merchandising to fill lifestyle needs. Direct designers, freelancers, and interns in executing design and content for boxes, hangtags, and labels, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines from conception to shelf. Manage vendor relationships, approve materials, and coordinate photography and styling while maintaining strict tolerances for print and color. Collaborate with legal teams on trademark requirements and drive design decisions across multiple platforms. This 5-month contract in Framingham, MA, offers $40-45/hour for a hybrid role.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-8 years design related experience
- Management experience to influence, drive change and drive vision is required
- In depth knowledge of design and cultural trends to develop cohesive design solutions
- Excellent sense of color, type and style
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects and works well under pressure
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) as well as supporting office programs
Desired Qualifications
- BFA or related degree in design preferred
