Packaging Specialist

Job Summary
Weigh cannabis products accurately and place them into appropriate containers while ensuring all items are labeled correctly with strain, weight, and potency details. Maintain high quality control standards and manage inventory of packaging materials and finished products to meet production targets. Adhere strictly to state and local regulations regarding cannabis packaging, labeling, and sanitation protocols, including regular equipment sanitization and wearing appropriate PPE. Document any discrepancies or issues with packaging processes and collaborate closely with team members to uphold efficiency and safety. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to consistently wear appropriate PPE (ie; masks, gloves, Tyvek suits) to prevent cross contamination and uphold cleanliness standards
- Ability to remain stationary and standing for several hours at a time
- Ability to maneuver throughout the facility
- Ability to work with different tools, machines, and shipments
- Ability to focus on and observe multiple processes throughout their shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures - to include both hot and cold - throughout the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations is a plus
