Job Summary
Packaging Specialist responsible for accurately packing quality finished products per customer specs on the 2nd shift (1:30 pm–10:00 pm). Duties include removing finished parts from an inline thermoforming machine, inspecting parts for thickness/color defects, boxing and labeling finished parts, palletizing, ensuring correct quantities, maintaining paperwork, communicating issues with machines/labels promptly, and upholding a clean, safe work environment. Requires reading work instructions, wearing PPE, forklift-certification eligibility, ability to multi-task, and standing most of the day in a manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Forklift Certifiable
- Read and understand job instructions
- Wear PPE - Safety glasses, ear protection, safety-toed footwear
- Complete required job documentation
- Bend, twist, squat, stairs
- Stand 75% of day
- Lift 10-40 pounds
- Walk 25% of day
- Reaching 30-40 times per minute
- 2nd shift 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm
- On-site work in Baxter, MN
