Job Summary
Senior Packaging Sales Account Representative in Texas supporting a wholesale packaging distributor. Responsible for driving sales and gross profit, managing accounts, growing the business through prospecting and relationship development, closing opportunities, maintaining margins, and attending supplier/sales meetings. Must demonstrate strong negotiation, customer-relations skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of prior experience in sales (packaging distributor / corrugated experience preferred but not required)
- Capacity to work independently
- Effective communication with coworkers, suppliers, and customers
- Self-starter who can stay busy
- Ability to take direction and work with supervisors to build positive relationships
- Strong negotiation and relationship development skills
- Deep understanding of customer relations and customer service
