Job Summary
Lead a team of Account Managers to close deals, grow accounts, and hit sales and gross profit targets; own strategy, develop new business, manage margins, forecast pipeline, and grow personal book of business while coaching and developing Managers to meet KPIs in a packaging-distribution market. Drive market awareness, maintain customer relationships, and lead by example through direct selling one day per week and accountable team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, or minimum of 5 years of packaging sales experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in the packaging distribution is a must
- Capacity to work independently
- Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas and drive sales growth
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship development skills
- Experience setting sales goals
- Deep understanding of customer relations and customer service
