Job Summary
Packaging Sales Executive responsible for achieving sales and gross profit goals, cultivating new accounts through networking, cold calling, and digital marketing, and developing relationships with prospective and existing customers. The role involves closing opportunities, responding to web leads across the US via video meetings or phone calls, maintaining customer files, delivering samples as needed, and driving a positive experience with coworkers, customers, and suppliers. Requires B2B sales expertise, strong negotiation and relationship development skills, and comfort with CRM tools; Spanish language ability is a plus. Benefits include a salary-based base with uncapped commissions and an excellent benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience selling packaging machinery equipment, packaging films and materials (high speed packaging lines, shrink film, shrink bundling film, stretch film, pouches, case sealing tape, labels, strapping material, corner boards, roll bags, wicket bags, folding cartons, clamshells, blisters, shipping cases)
- Capacity to work independently
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs
- The ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, suppliers, and customers
- Strong negotiation and relationship development skills
- Deep understanding of customer relations and customer service
