Packaging Room Leader - Third Shift

Job Summary
Lead packaging/labeling operations in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment during third shift; manage room operations, provide leadership, coordinate teams, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure high quality and safety standards in packaging. Requires 4+ years manufacturing experience, strong knowledge of cGMP/SOPs, SAP proficiency, excellent documentation, ability to train/mentor team members, and capability to work in environments including clean and cold rooms with PPE; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma OR GED REQUIRED
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industry
- Leadership experience preferred with ability to train, mentor and guide team members
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and quality systems
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Proficiency with computers and manufacturing systems (SAP, etc.)
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations, measurements, and reconciliation
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in various environments including clean rooms, cold rooms (-20°C to 8°C)
- Vision requirements: 20/40 corrected vision, color vision discrimination
- Ability to work overtime and various shifts as needed
- Experience with automated packaging equipment preferred
- Ability to wear required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, clean room garments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
