Packaging Room Leader - Night Shift

Job Summary
Lead Packaging/Labeling Technician role focused on managing pharmaceutical packaging operations within GMP-regulated environments. You will provide leadership for packaging teams, ensure GMP compliance, coordinate room operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The position emphasizes team support, training, mentorship, and effective documentation to support global healthcare objectives. Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma OR GED
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industry
- Leadership experience preferred with ability to train, mentor and guide team members
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and quality systems
- Proficiency with computers and manufacturing systems (SAP, etc.)
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations, measurements, and reconciliation
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in various environments including clean rooms, cold rooms (-20°C to 8°C)
- Vision requirements: 20/40 corrected vision, color vision discrimination
- Ability to work overtime and various shifts as needed
- Experience with automated packaging equipment preferred
- Ability to wear required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, clean room garments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
