Job Summary
As a Packaging Project Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll manage a portfolio of moderate to strategic client projects, leading end-to-end delivery of technical and service aspects while developing effective solutions. The role involves serving as a key liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring project execution from initial discussions through completion. Key responsibilities include shaping client strategy, improving processes, and supporting team members. Ideal candidates have an advanced degree and relevant experience in project management, with strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and project management tools.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in project management or client-facing roles
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, tools and best practices
- Advanced skills in budget management, forecasting, and financial tracking
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to work effectively at all levels
- Strong problem-solving abilities and record of implementing effective solutions
- Proficiency in relevant systems (Salesforce, ERP, MS Office Suite, project management tools)
- Experience with GMP/GxP regulations and quality management systems
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships
- Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
- Ability to support and guide team members and provide project leadership
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Expertise in clinical trials, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry
- Foreign language skills beneficial
