Job Summary
Packaging Operator / Manufacturing Technician 2 sought to support manufacturing and packaging operations in a production environment. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining production and processing equipment (COP, CIP), labeling line equipment, executing routine manufacturing and packaging tasks, and pulling bottles from inventory into a Class 100 clean room. You will perform batch records using SAP (eBR), conduct routine room cleaning and monthly phenolic cleaning, handle waste disposal, and perform hand torque and torque testing. Maintain accurate production documentation and log books, monitor equipment/status, report deviations to supervisors, and adhere to GMP, safety, and quality procedures while using PPE and maintaining housekeeping in production areas. Training, safety, and quality program participation are required, with a 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM) and a 1st shift training schedule (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM for 2–3 months). This is a Contract position with temp-to-perm potential in St. Louis, MO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge (SAP)
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to work extended shifts including nights
- Ability to wear PPE for extended periods
