Job Summary
Operate packaging line equipment for Clorox Liquid Bleach products, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and timely changeovers. Perform repairs on malfunctions using mechanical skills, identify quality issues, and maintain accurate inventory of supplies. Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards while documenting all maintenance work. Complete required training and attend improvement projects with the engineering team. Candidates must work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of operator experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good, effective oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Office, Email
- Must be able to work a varied shift of either (1st, 2nd or 3rd shift)
- Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift
- Resume required
- Must satisfactorily complete the employment application with attached resume
- Must complete a pre-employment physical
- Must complete a drug screen
- Must complete a background check
- Must be able to work three (3) shifts times and overtime as business needs dictate
- 1st shift: (7am – 3:30pm)
- 2nd shift: (3pm – 11:30pm)
- 3rd shift: (11pm – 7:30am)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs frequently
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs constantly
- Must be able to lift/move objects weighing 50 or more pounds with assistance
- Must follow all safety procedures and protocols
- Must perform all their work in accordance with OSHA and Clorox safety standards
- Must attend all required training sessions
Desired Qualifications
- 5 years of Experience in a manufacturing environment/packaging department
- Other transferable skills such as packaging equipment, auto mechanics, maintenance, blow molding, electrical, or machine shop
- Military experience in the above
