• •Liquid Dispense/PKG Equipment

• •Ability to calculate fill volume based on concentration (mg/ml)
• •Understanding of the metric system
• •High school diploma/GED
• •A minimum of 6 months of industry work experience
• •Strong attention to detail
• •Work well in a team environment
• •Good documentation practices
• •Must be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required
• •Familiarity with computers and various software for general business functionality
• •Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• •Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds
• •Must be able to wear long pants or skirt that covers the leg entirely down to the ankle
• •Must be able to wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes that cover the entire foot
• •Must be able to wear a labcoat
• •Must be able to wear gloves and goggles when performing benchwork that poses a spill or splash risk
• •Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and product contamination control (i.e. gowning)
• •Must be able to handle hazardous waste
• •Must be able to work Mon-Fri, 6:00am-2:30pm
• •Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder
• •Must be able to work in a laboratory environment
• •Must be able to follow general instructions on routine tasks and detailed instructions on new tasks
• •Must be able to independently organize individual schedules to meet departmental goals
• •Must be able to store, retrieve, and stage supplies/materials
• •Must be able to operate labeling equipment
• •Must be able to input packaging data in SAP system or other Production Planning/Manufacturing Resource database system
• •Must be able to follow department guidelines and procedures
• •Must be able to follow BD Biosciences Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures
• •Must be able to take responsibility for safety in immediate work area
• •Must be able to participate in EH&S programs
• •Must be able to notify supervisors of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices
• •Must be able to make recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment
• •Must be able to perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products
• •Must be able to ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and Quality specifications
• •Must be able to inspect in-process packaging, components to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material
• •Must be able to maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities related to product packaging
• •Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations required to assist in completion of batch records
• •Must be able to assist with inventory counting activities
• •Must be able to perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment
• •Must be able to abide by all personal protective equipment and product contamination control (i.e. gowning) requirements
