Job Summary
Operate bagging, baler, shrink wrapping, and forklift machinery while maintaining safety guidelines and assisting other production areas. Move and wrap completed products, stack bales on pallets, and seal them with an iron. Communicate moisture or material problems to Shift Leads and accurately complete production reports, filling sample cups for quality control. Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day during M-F shifts from 8am-4pm or 3pm-11pm. Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior forklift and production line experience
- Good eye, hand, and foot coordination
- Ability to pass the company forklift training
- Ability to read and interpret scales
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to do simple math calculations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
- Ability to start and stop pellet mills
- Ability to communicate moisture or material problems to Shift Lead
- Ability to maintain a clean workstation
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Prior forklift and production line experience preferred
