Packaging Operator I

Review work orders to determine packaging requirements, then visually inspect products for defects and transfer any non-conforming items. Load product into packaging machines while monitoring their function, and unloads packaged goods to ensure they meet quality standards before placing them into boxes and applying identification labels. Perform manual weighing and counting of product, and accurately complete departmental paperwork. Work in a fast-paced environment up to 8 hours per day with exposure to loud noise, lifting up to 50 lbs. This role supports the Hillman Group's operations team in the packaging function.
