PACKAGING OPERATOR I

Job Summary
Set up equipment to mix clear coating solution, lubricate 48" and 60" Acella Cota lines, and split lots for coating. Operate and adjust spray guns, peristaltic pumps, and pan speeds while performing inspections to verify properly waxed tablets. Disassemble pan blades, baffles, and spray guns; clean dust collectors and maintain a neat work area. Follow written Standard Operating Procedures and batch records in compliance with cGMPs and 21 CFR Part 111. Verify equipment release from Quality Assurance via the Equipment Use / Maintenance Cleaning Log. Work with supervisors and trainers to ensure procedures are followed. Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 6 months+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Able to follow standard operation procedures (GMP's, SOP's and Batch Records)
- Able to follow directions and communicate information (written and verbal)
- Able to use basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide); operate a calculator
- Able to disassemble and reassemble equipment
- Good organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to lift 25 lbs. repeatedly and 50 pounds occasionally throughout the day
- Able to climb ladders and use balance
- Able to stand for long periods of time and frequently walk
- Able to use hands and arms to feel, reach, and move
