Job Summary
The Packaging Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the packaging equipment. Key duties include learning to operate packaging filling equipment, conducting quality checks, maintaining downtime records, troubleshooting line performance issues, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment. Operators must manage equipment sanitation and perform additional duties as needed. Availability for overtime and some weekend work is required.
Required Qualifications
- English Language Skills – Able to speak, read, and write
- Must perform job duties efficiently and safely
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds per NIOSH Lifting Equation and apply plant approved safe lifting practices for over 50 pounds
- Able to work in a team environment
- Must adhere to all Kraft Policies as stated in the Employee Handbook and follow internal Kraft Heinz Procedures!
- Able to work extended hours
