Job Summary
Ensure compliance with Gehl Foods safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices while operating secondary packaging equipment to maintain food safety and product quality. Perform clean, inspect, and lube functions, and actively participate in start-up, troubleshooting, stop/reset, and shutdown of line equipment, including clearing jams and reporting malfunctions. Execute changeovers by completing line clears and accurately setting up the next item's packaging and coding, while applying appropriate labels to secondary packages and finished goods pallets. Report out-of-standard results, unsafe conditions, and compliance issues to supervisors, complete required documentation and inventory records, and safely operate forklifts. Work Mon-Fri 6:00AM-2:00PM at $20/hour in Germantown, WI.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months previous manufacturing, packaging, or assembly line production experience
- Demonstrated organizational and observational skills, and detail-oriented
- Basic mathematical calculation skills
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and listen to written and oral and instructions in the English language
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
