Job Summary
Conduct labeling, inspecting, and packaging of final container products using manual and automated systems. Operate equipment for filling, assembling, and sorting items while maintaining accuracy in weighing materials per standard manufacturing and operating procedures. Set up, clean, and troubleshoot production equipment including Integrated Fill Lines and shrink-wrap machines. Ensure accurate documentation of all forms and escalate operational issues immediately. Communicate product status between shifts using oral reports or written logs. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, client housekeeping policies, and safety protocols including steel-toed shoes. Work the second shift from 3:54 PM to 12:24 AM Monday through Friday with potential overtime requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Steel toed shoes
- Safety glasses
- Ability to work on assignments that are manual and routine in nature
- Skill to recognize any deviations from specification
- Ability to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically on a personal computer
- Ability to effectively manage frequent assignment changes
- Proficiency in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
- Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of Windows environment
- Ability to use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve
- Ability to work in a repetitive work environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work overtime as required to meet client business requirements
