Job Summary
Operate packaging equipment including Integrated Fill Lines, bagging, and shrink-wrap systems to fill, assemble, label, and inspect final container products. Maintain accuracy in weighing materials per standard operating procedures and ensure proper documentation of all relevant forms and logs. Set up, clean, and troubleshoot production equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices and client safety policies. Communicate product status between shifts using oral reports or written status updates. Work overtime as required to meet business needs and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree
- Experience in a regulated environment
- Ability to work on assignments that are manual and routine in nature
- Skill to recognize any deviations from specification
- Ability to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically on a personal computer
- Ability to effectively manage frequent assignment changes
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
- Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of Windows environment
- Ability to use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve
- Ability to work in a repetitive work environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work overtime as required to meet Client business requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Good communicator within the manufacturing team
- Ability to set-up, operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, Integrated Fill Lines (IFL), bagging equipment and shrink-wrap equipment
- Ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Ability to follow all Client housekeeping policies and procedures
- Ability to follow all Client safety policies and procedures
