Job Summary
Optimize operational efficiencies for production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping while ensuring accurate inventory records and financial controls. Lead hourly front-line associates through hiring, training, and performance management using Tropicana's Career Growth and Leadership Models. Coordinate operations improvements to deliver the site annual operating plan, identify cost performance gaps, and develop action plans. Directly oversee operational measures including efficiency, yield loss, product quality, and CIL/CL compliance. Manage talent development via objective setting, PDR, and competency reviews while maintaining daily presence on the plant floor in Bradenton.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar fields
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing
- preferably food/beverage experience
- Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence Experience
- demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
- This role will require off-shift and weekend work
- Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana [office, warehouse, manufacturing plant] in Bradenton
- Travel up to 5%
