Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain packaging machinery on the production floor while performing routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, conduct equipment changeovers, and monitor line operations to maintain quality standards. Document all maintenance activities and collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related problems. Requires prior experience as a packaging mechanic or maintenance technician, working knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems, and ability to read technical manuals. This role involves rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a packaging mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed

- Experience with packaging equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, or conveyors
