Job Summary
Operate pumps, valves, and hoses to transfer bulk materials between tanks while monitoring processes for accuracy and preventing spills. Clean and sanitize portable tanks, inspect equipment for wear or contamination, and maintain detailed records of transfers, volumes, and safety checks. Transport materials from staging areas to packaging lines using lift trucks and RF scanners, ensuring all deliveries match approved batch records and SOPs. Perform visual inspections, manual labeling, case assembly, and waste reconciliation, then manage general housekeeping and assist with line changeovers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years Experience in industrial cleaning, bulk handling, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to operate transfer equipment and understand fluid dynamics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in confined spaces
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Applied math and measurement skills
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Recordkeeping and documentation accuracy
- Requires lifting up to a maximum of 30 lbs
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Some bending, stooping, squatting is required
- Pushing and/or pulling pallet lifts for transport of materials
- Must be able to complete their full shift without the need to use nicotine
- Must agree to adhere to the nicotine-free workplace policy
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training
- Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations
- Experience in cGMP environment
- Forklift certification
