Job Summary
Packaging Manager at Vilgain to own and lead packaging development across the company, defining packaging standards and long-term directions, steering projects from idea to launch, ensuring packaging protects product quality and scales with growth, building packaging capabilities, driving new packaging solutions, collaborating with suppliers, and coordinating with product development, production, supply chain, regulatory, graphics, and purchasing to bring structure to packaging decisions and ensure feasibility across production, logistics, compliance, and customer experience. Must evaluate materials and formats from technical and business perspectives, negotiate with suppliers, and manage cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- experience in packaging development, procurement, manufacturing, product development or operations
- basic awareness of sustainability topics and packaging legislation
- ownership, decision-making and cross-functional work
- structured, organised and able to manage multiple projects
- clear communication with suppliers, internal stakeholders and technical teams
- Czech and English language proficiency
