Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the second and third-shift cup packaging lines, ensuring production targets are met with strict adherence to FSQ standards, SQF/HACCP regulations, and "audit-ready" status. Direct a multi-shift team of 2-4 supervisors, manage staffing levels, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement through 5S, Lean principles, and root-cause analysis to minimize downtime and optimize OEE. Coordinate inventory staging with warehouse teams and lead safety audits to maintain a "Safety First" culture across all shifts. This third-shift role (6pm-4am) supports Blount Fine Foods' mission to bring premium fresh prepared foods to families, focusing on organic, gluten-free, and low sodium product lines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in Food & Beverage
- Demonstrated experience managing automated packaging equipment and conveyor systems
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of LEAN, 6 Sigma
- This opportunity is third shift, the hours are 6pm-4am
