Job Summary
Packaging Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain packaging equipment in a food manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and adjusting packaging machines; startup of case packers and cartoners, scales, and monitoring codes and weights; performing quality checks on cartons, bags, and cases; handling material load/unload and replenishment; following GMP, safety and sanitation protocols; maintaining production logs; collaborating with supervisors, maintenance, and QA; using basic tools for minor adjustments and maintenance; and adapting to production schedules with potential flexible shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2-year experience as a PMO in a food manufacturing facility
- Familiar with Hayssen and Ilapak form & fill machine
- Ability to perform simple calculations related to weights, measurements, and production counts.
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GMPs, and workplace safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with managing production schedules and the push list.
- Strong work ethic, team player, and attention to detail.
