Job Summary
Packaging Machine Operator III responsible for operating and maintaining equipment that dispenses and packages dietary supplement powders. 2nd shift (3:45pm-2:15am) with duties including setting up the machine for maximum efficiency, adjusting for correct weights of jars/bottles/pouches/stick packs, troubleshooting in-process errors, cleaning equipment, assembling/disassembling equipment, maintaining logs and batch records, verifying materials and expiration, weighing materials, recording unit counts, coordinating with Department Lead and packers to handle staffing variations, ensuring scrap is weighed and recorded on batch loss, submitting process docs to the Department Head, storing products correctly, and upholding GMP and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Mathematical Skills – Accuracy with arithmetic and subtraction
- Language Skills – Must be able to follow detailed written instructions
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to read and write basic English
