Job Summary
Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate computerized and manual packaging equipment while complying with internal SOPs. Monitor high-speed PE bagging lines for quality, production output, and uniformity. Observe machine equipment condition and ensure good housekeeping of the work environment. Line, fit, and load sea bulk containers using a bulk loading cannon. Complete required checklists and input data for the WMS system (Fast Field). Perform training responsibilities and follow all applicable safety, environmental, and operational procedures. Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements. Work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking duties and be willing to come on duty during free days or when contacted.
Required Qualifications
- Must read, write, and speak English
- Experience on packaging lines for FF&S bags
- Experience working on other types of plastics packaging lines
- Ability to push, pull, or lift 25kgs bags
- Prior machine operator experience within last five years
- Able to perform simple math addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to perform basic data entry into computer software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to conduct multi-tasking jobs
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Prior machine operator experience within last five years – preferred
